Michael Adler

Founder & CEO

Michael Adler (CIPP/E) has cultivated expertise in data protection law since 2016, focusing on US and EU legislation, as well as AI regulation. He applies his diverse experience in law, government, and the tech industry to help businesses follow the fast-changing rules in these areas. He began his career at the Defense Intelligence Agency before becoming a lawyer and working at two Top 50 firms, Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Dechert LLP, and the federal courts.

In 2014, Michael began working with tech companies, including household names such as Amazon and Autodesk, in addition to his work with startups.

Since then, Michael has spent more than a decade developing a unique experience in data privacy, artificial intelligence, marketing, e-commerce, and all of the regulations facing businesses today. Michael is passionate about helping businesses adopt practical, actionable strategies for long-term success.

In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his family doing all things Disney and reading his way through the complete works of Agatha Christie.

Shayne Adler

Founder & COO

Shayne Adler is a seasoned program and project manager with an MBA and a proven track record of successfully coordinating complex initiatives. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Shayne expanded her expertise into the entrepreneurial realm by co-founding Aetos Data Consulting.

Shayne earned her undergraduate degree at Columbia University in New York, where she decided to pursue a law degree, which she applied to a career in non-profit operations. In this capacity, she honed her leadership skills as both a board member and a professional while also developing her expertise in website and online marketing compliance. However, after earning her MBA, Shayne transitioned into the tech world, bringing her passion for process and strategic thinking to the dynamic field of data privacy and AI.

Outside of work, Shayne spends her time volunteering and serving on nonprofit boards and exploring gluten-free dining options wherever she can find them.
