Michael Adler, CIPP/E, is a data privacy and AI consultant with a diverse background in law, government service, and the tech industry. He began his career as a senior intelligence analyst at the Defense Intelligence Agency.  He then transitioned to law, working at two Top 50 firms, Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Dechert LLP, and the federal courts.

In 2014, Michael shifted his focus to in-house legal counsel roles in the tech sector, serving as legal counsel for prominent companies such as Amazon and Autodesk, in addition to his work with startups.

Since moving to these business-centric roles, Michael has spent more than a decade developing a unique experience in data privacy, artificial intelligence and emerging regulations. Michael has a passion for helping businesses adopt practical regulatory compliance strategies with a pragmatic, client-first approach.

By leveraging a Privacy-Principles-by-Design approach... B2B entrepreneurs can structure their data processing activities in alignment with the principles of GDPR, which is a far more achievable goal than the practical impossibility of complying with the entirety of the GDPR’s requirements.
